Helping young people and their parents understand and improve their mental health

Are you concerned about your child?

Many parents struggle to know where to turn for help when their child is anxious or low in mood.  It might be difficult to know whether they need to see a specialist, or whether what they are experiencing is a normal part of growing up.

Perhaps you feel that you don't always respond in the 'right' way and you'd like some advice on how best to support your child?

I offer single session consultations with parents to help you discuss the issue you and your child are struggling with, and to give you some strategies to help or advice on where to seek further support.

I specialise in supporting children, young people and their families who are struggling with anxiety and low mood.   I offer assessments and therapy.

I agree with each family whether I will see the young person on their own or with their parents/carers.

In my therapy sessions, we’ll work to solve current problems and improve positive thinking and behavior. I will help you “re-frame” your reactions and provide you with valuable tools to cope with life’s obstacles. I’m confident you’ll find my personalized Family Therapy beneficial and inspirational. Get in touch to book an appointment.

I offer support for parents, to help them think through their concerns about their child, and how they can best support them.

This can be a really great way to get help for younger children or when your child doesn't want to talk about their concerns.
